Why Goat 100% Grass-fed Goat Meat?

TomKat Ranch goats in an upper meadow.

Though not often eaten in America, goat is the most commonly consumed meat in the world.

From Indian curries to Italian stews to Kenyan roasts, goat has been enjoyed by cultures across the globe for centuries. Leftcoast Grassfed is excited to be introducing goat meat raised on our 1800-acre regenerative ranch with the same care, attention, and intention as the grass-fed beef we have provided to the community for over a decade.

Our goats spend their entire life on the range as a multi-generational herd. Since arriving in 2022, the herd has been working to reduce brush encroachment, restore native grasses, and reduce fire risk across our ranch. In connection with our cattle, the goats have helped to increase soil health and mitigate the effects of climate change on our landscape.

Our pasture-raised goat meat is now available as a goat meat assortment box which includes ground meat, stew meat, chops, and two kinds of sausage. Each of these cuts can be adapted to a variety of dishes and cooking styles.
